  • What types of wire do you use?
    The majority of my hand wrapped pendants, cameos, and earrings are made from 14 kt gf (gold filled) or sterling silver wire.
  • What is Gold Filled Wire?
    Gold filled refers to the process in which gold is mechanically bonded under heat and pressure to one or more layers of karat surfaces of supporting base metal, then rolled or drawn to a given thickness. The quantity of gold must be at least 1/20th by weight of the total product.
    Since the gold is on the outer surface, it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between solid gold and gold filled, except when it comes to the cost.
    Electroplating or gold plated is NOT a part of this process. 
    I am so confident in my jewelry and my craftsmanship, that my wire jewelry created out of quality 14 kt gold-filled, or sterling silver, is guaranteed for the life of the owner, with the sole exception of abuse. You will find a number of different styles that are designed without the use of glue or solder.
  • Is it safe for me to use my credit card when I order?
    Yes, we have a completely secure merchant account system that automatically checks your credit card number and deposits the money into our bank account without anyone even seeing your credit card number or information. So it's completely secure.
  • How will my product be shipped?
    All orders will be shipped via UPS or United States Postal Service.
  • How long will it take to receive my order?
    7-10 business days after you place you order.
  • What is your return policy?
    If you are not 100% satisfied with your order and want to return or exchange it, simply email us at:
    support@bjstwistofate.com. Make sure your subject line reads "returned item" and we will contact you within 24-48 hours and take care of your return. Note: In order for your return or exchange to be honored we must receive an email from you 3-5 business days after you receive your order.
  • Do you take international orders?
    Unfortunately not at this time, just orders placed in the United States of America.
